Hong Kong Art Museum

RDA was hired to create the identity and signage/wayfinding system for a new art museum in Hong Kong. A lofty two stories embedded in a sweeping new building on Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour, the museum’s architecture was designed by Museoplan and SO-IL.

Bilingual in English and traditional Chinese, the museum identity and signage strive for an engaging synthesis of Roman letter forms, universal imagery and Chinese ideograms.

RDA had completed the museum identity and signage when the museum project was halted and the building reconceived as creative workspaces.
