#YouthEndFGM identity and Campaign
February 6 is the International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). For the 2020 theme, "Unleashing Youth Power", RDA developed a global campaign identity, poster, and online toolkit to help end FGM by 2030. The identity uses a playful aesthetic that's in stark contrast to the violent reality of FGM experienced by millions of girls and women. The campaign and its design assets were disseminated through social media and, in addition to young people, targets politicians, advocates, and the media. By February 19, 2020, #YouthEndFGM had reached 28 million people globally.
